Tanaka Soba restaurant in Izumo

Confession, I’m actually not a big fan of soba, I prefer ramen than soba.
But since Izumo (出雲) in Shimane prefecture (島根県) is famous for soba,
I had to give it a try right!?

hmm…erm…Sorry…it failed to make me like soba…
my soba was kinda soggy…end of story.

Though I didn’t like the food…
I like how these photos turned out ..lol

Local train trip (2) Atami to Shizuoka

This is the second part of my train journey from Tokyo to Osaka by the local train.
Check out the 1st part over here if you missed it.

The train departed Atami at 10:35am and reached Shizuoka at 11:50am.
17 stations traveled.

Some of the passengers slurping up soba noodles before the next train approaches.
hmm…I have never tried these soba noodles at the train platform coz’
I don’t think I can eat up a bowl of noodles in just a few minutes :o

The journey continues :)
