Samcheongdong(삼청동), Seoul
A nice area with a mix of western style & traditional restaurants & cafes, small boutiques & accessory shops.
Such an eye catching wall painting yah!?
Cafe YUNG looks like a cozy place to enjoy some korean traditional desserts & tea.
Btw. the cafe is housed in a renovated hanok house (korean traditional architecture).
I would give this place a try if my friend & I were not
too stuffed with our late lunch at Tosokchon Samgyetang ;o

p/s: You can also check out an old post I wrote about
samcheongdong over here during my first trip to Seoul.

Saturday with Yun (film)
Photos taken on 1st May, 2010.
Kodak 400 film. Canon EOS 300 camera.
After Hongdae, I met up with Yun, another Korean friend of mine at Gwang hua mun (광화문). Steve, a friend of hers who is on business trip in Seoul joined us too. It was fun hanging out :)
King Sejong (세종대왕) statue was not there when I visited last year. I think it was placed recently!?
This tree in front of the Jeongdok Public Library was in red…just like autumn…I wonder why?
We had our lunch at this restaurant in Insadong. I was so busy eating that I didn’t take much photos :p
Thank you Yun & Steve for a wonderful time. Yun, I know you read my blog but just too shy to comment right!? :p Thank you for being my guide and let’s explore Seoul again soon :p
How’s everyone’s weekend going on? Mine is great! Design Festa was a blast but I forgot to bring my digital camera but worry not, I did brought a long my film camera.
I’ll get the films developed today. Let’s hope that it’ll come out fine coz’ with my limited knowledge on film photography…my indoors photos are always under exposed…
crossing fingers…
Have a nice Sunday everyone!
