I’ve heard about MMMG and saw their products on the internet before but this is the first time I’ve been to their actual store. I didn’t even know they have a physical store and a cafe until I bumped into it when I was walking around Insadong. Btw. The store is just 1 minute walk from Exit 1 of Anguk station.

Fusion Korean food in Insadong
Saram & Namu (사람과 나무) is another restaurant that I came across in Insadong which looks charming from the outside. It’s housed in a Hanok (Korean traditional house). Have a look at the interior here. According to the official Korean Tourism website, this restaurant serves Korean fusion food and it gained recognition as one of the favorite restaurants of Coach Guus Hiddink, who brought the Korean football team to the semi-finals in the 2002 FIFA World Cup. hmm…
Btw. Lunch special is priced at 7,000 won.

Gyedong-gil (계동길)
Just some random photos taken at Gyedong-gil (계동길), near Anguk station. This road has a mix of old shops and cute cafes. I’ve walked past this road before when I went to the WWOOF office during my last trip. Didn’t had time to explore at that time.
Anyway, if you walk straight up this road, you’ll reach Choong ang High School 중앙고등학교, one of the filming locations for the famous Korean drama “Winter Sonata”. There’s a shop just in front of the school that sells Hallyu items too.
