Sheng wu lou (縄武楼), Hakka tulou (客家土楼)
*These photo were taken during summer 2010*
Sheng wu lou (縄武楼) is one of my favorite tulous (Hakka earthen building)
among the Fujian tulou cluster (福建土楼) that I visited during this trip.
The whole architecture were ornate with beautiful wood cravings
but it’s really sad to see most of it in a really bad state now.
No one is living there now except an old couple.
The other Tulous (Hakka earthen buildings) that I visited during this trip
were quite well preserved but not this one.
I wonder why?
It’s such a waste to see such a beautiful architecture
became derelict over time…

Wu yi shan town

Pictures of Wu yi shan (武夷山) town area.
It’s really a small town with just a few streets.
I took these after my visit to the hospital, if you remember…
Everything is so red in this town.
I still have a lot of pictures to post on Hakka tulou (Hakka earthen building) but
I haven’t have time to get them organized yet.
I’ll get to it soon.
