I love these pictures! I’m going to Korea in November, and I’m really excited to visit Hongdae, and try Korean street food. :)
You have a lovely site, and lots of awesome pictures! I wish I had found out about your postcard project earlier – I would’ve requested for one. I miss getting postcards, not a lot of people do that anymore.
Hi. Thank you for the compliments on my blog :) I hope the information I’ve posted is useful for your coming trip to Seoul. I’m so envy! I wanna go there again… but I don’t I can make it there again this year…
I can send you a postcard from Tokyo if you like? Just email me your mailing address.
I love reading your blog about Seoul. It has been so helpful with planning my trip in August :) I was wondering if you could suggest any great hotels? I have been looking online but would love to have a word of mouth suggestion.
Hope to hear from you soon :)
Hi Nix. I’m glad to hear that some of my info is helpful for your trip to Seoul. I’m sorry for the late reply coz’ I’ve been away from the internet for a while..just came back from a short holiday. I’m so sorry I might not be able to give you any suggestions on hotels coz’ I mostly stay in cheap guest house when I travel…
You’re blog is truly helpful and i love skimming through your pictures as i’ll be visiting korea in spring. I am searching for a cheap and great guesthouse to stay. I have 2 options (in Hongdae or Insa-dong only) as the nearer it is to Seoul, the more expensive it gets. I just wish i can go to a place where accessibility to every city tourist spots is easy… Perhaps if you can remember the hostels you went into, please share :D
Hi Paul. Sorry for the slow response. I stayed at Kimchi Hongdae guest house in Hongdae. I think Hongdae is very accessible to most of the tourist places spots in Seoul. Check out the review I wrote about Kimchi Hongdae guest house over here. http://sleepwalkingintokyo.wordpress.com/2011/12/13/kimchi-hongdae-guest-house-in-hongdae/
Have fun planning your trip ;)
Hi,I do totally fall in love with your blog<3 Totally a good help for my vacation next 2 weeks to Korea.Know what?I just love Hongdae by seeing your pictures.Such good pictures!Envy you for that.Could you tell me must visited place for vacation in Korea.I'll go just for a week. And btw tell me the best part in Hongdae? The must one.Thank you.Hope to hear from you soon :D
Hi. Thank you. I love Hongdae for the street arts, little boutiques and cafes… it’s nice to walk around even if you’re not buying anything & you can go cafe hopping.
Is this the first time you’re visiting Korea? Other than Seoul, I have not been to too many places in Korea…
As for Seoul, Cheonggyecheon, Hongdae & Buckhon Village are my favorites
If you’re traveling out of Seoul, I would highly recommend Jeju island.
A lot of people like to go Nami island for a day trip but I have not been there.
Maybe you can refer to the page below on other places to visit in Korea.
