Happy New Year everyone!
I’m so sorry for the long absence…the truth is I have some problem with my notebook ;(
I haven’t been able to use it for more than 3 weeks now…am typing this from my brother’s old desktop..
Anyway, I’m going to do a recap of 2011 just for my own record. Skip it if you’re not interested.

January

Ended my sayonara trip at Ise Jingu and took the night bus back to Tokyo from Nagoya.
Managed to catch a glimpse of early sakura. My flight back home was on the 13th of March and
the earthquake happened on 11th, 2 days before my flight.
I was alone, packing my stuff at my friend’s apartment…
it’s the biggest earthquake I’ve experienced.

April

Registered myself to a few recruitment agencies and got a job through them.

A memorable souvenir from China

Posted in Others by sleepwalkingintokyo on August 12, 2010

Right leg x-ray

I’m back from China and guess what souvenir I brought back!? An injured leg :o Yes. I injured my right ankle on the first day of the trip!!! Can you believe it!! It’s so hilarious that I laugh about it when I tell my friends the story :o

Anyway, I couldn’t walk much so I stayed at the guest house room most of the time watching TV. lol. Even though I didn’t get to go out much, I got to see China through TV *laugh* and also had a different experience… like going to the hospital there  & talking to the locals. lol

Anyway, it’s a long story. I came back to Tokyo last Sunday and went to hospital again over here. The doctor said it’ll take 6 weeks to recover fully.

And I’m working from home now. Oh. Japanese boss. They just can’t let me rest.

How’s everyone? I hope you’re having a better time than me :)

Oh. And Sorry. Because I injured my leg I did not managed to send out postcards to some of you out there :o
For those who requested postcard from China.. I have the postcard with me but do you mind if I send it from Tokyo!?

I didn’t take much photos this trip…but will upload some photos soon.

lol

Bad stomach

Po chai pills

I was attacked by stomach crams at 4am in the morning and it turned into diarrhea… *sigh* I was suppose to go Cherry Blossom viewing with a friend today but…we had to cancel …*cry*

About what would have cause the diarrhea…I think it was the super spicy ramen I had yesterday….I like spicy food but I think I’ve consumed too much of it recently… I guess my stomach is not as strong as I thought it would be….

The picture above was taken a while ago when I was testing my camera on macro shots…This particular Chinese medicine called “Po Chai” pills is what I usually take when I have stomach ache and diarrhea…

Anyway, the weather was so good today!!! Sunny & warm… but I was grounded at home with a bad stomach…*sucks*

What a way to start my weekend…I hope your weekend is better than mine.

Rain drops

The weather here is making me a little bit emo… I’ve been listening to Beyond’s song on youtube all day… thinking what if kakui is still alive…what kind of beautiful new songs he’ll bring to us….for those who have no idea what I’m talking about…just ignore me :o

I just realized all the legendary Hong Kong singers and performers die young, Kakui died at the age of 31, Anita Mui 40, Leslie Cheung 46…
