Those Aloe vera in the second photo are so huge yah!
I saw a few ajummas buying them.

I wonder what they do with them?
Does anyone know?

Btw. Have you ever try eating bugs before?
Well. I did came across road side stalls selling bugs when
I was traveling in Thailand and Beijing but
I didn’t have the guts to try it at all :o

    giant aloe vera like this also available at sg market. i bought them before. i sometime add them into soup. or simply blend them with fruits to make healthy fruit juice :) my family cut it into cubes and boil with dry longan and red dates to make dessert.

    Haha. i tried fried bugs before when i travel to Bangkok. grasshopper is super yummy. crunchy and nice texture. scorpion tasted hard and bitter. a few other unknown bugs tastes weird. you should give grasshopper a chance next time. highly recommended for first trial.

    oh ya. I ate fresh grubs before. yummy ^_^

      Thanks for the idea! blend them with fruits!? I think it’ll be a refreshing taste yah? boiling it with longan and dates sounds yummy too!

    That is really, seriously, huge aloe vera! Lol! But the bugs, are common in Thailand. :) Heard it is nice but I m not so adventurous to chew on them.

    u can eat those aloe vera and use the meat after peeling to put on ur skin if it was burnt from the sun – it helps cool down :)

      Ah..icic :) I think I’ve used it to treat burn too coz’ it feels cooling after applying on the skin.

    We can drink aloe so maybe to drink it? Did you ever tried? It’s really soft and sweet :)

      Oh. I think I drank it once. yes. it’s nice. Is it a common drink in Kroea? I don’t think I can find it here…
