This is my first time commenting here, finally! I do love your blog. I really do enjoy receiving mails to see that you updated ;)
Wow we were in Korea at the same time. I recognize Hongdae, where I lived… But I always missed the flea market ;( I really hope I can visit it one day. Does it worth it?
Thanks for all the good posts!
Hi. I’m really happy that you commented! Are you living in Seoul now!? I’m so envy if you are!! About the flea market, there was just a few stalls and I didn’t really looked at it..
No I’m not living there :( I lived there for a month in 2010 and 2 weeks last April (had the chance to change district for a week). I thought I’d be fed up to always stay there, I have to admit Hongdae may be tiring but I like the morning Hongdae and the contrast with the afternoon/night.
Just a few? Heard it’s one of the biggest.
I think the bigger flea market is at one the parks in Hongdae. This is not the one. But the one at the park was not very big either compared to the ones that I’ve been in Tokyo.
By the way, can I add you to my blog roll? I have a “following” category with blogs i follow with interest :)
It’s my honor to be added in blogroll! Thank you so much :)
I love that flea market sign, and the little drawing on the wall next to it.
hi becky! Your eyes is so sharp! I thought no one would notice the little dog like graffiti on the wall :)
I loved Hongdae when I was there and wish I had more time to see everything.
Hi Tee!!! I’ve been to Hongdae so many times but still feels that I haven’t seen every part of it yet!! heehehe…btw. I’m enjoying your Japan post :)
That market looks like it has a very unique feel to it–loved looking at the pictures!

Hi there :) Nice to meet you and thank you for commenting.
wonderful peek into a cute little shop. The street view…shows a wonderful building….Dress shop, Waffle shop and what I guess is a hair salon up-stairs? I like it.
Yeah! I thought the building in the first photo is cute :)
