Tang house is a coffee shop & guest house in Malacca, Malaysia.
It’s located at the intersection of Harmony, or Temple street, and Jonker Walk.

They offer singles, doubles and triple rooms at the price of
35, 55, and 70 respectively (all prices in Malaysian Ringgit)
There’s free wifi & PC for internet surfing too.

When I was there, I casually asked if any rooms available on that day but
the staff told me that they are fully booked. I guess they don’t have that many rooms &
it gets occupied quite fast especially during weekends & holiday seasons.

Their location is really convenient as Jonkers street & other historical sites
are within walking distance.

But you might wanna avoid to stay here during weekends coz’
it could be a bit noisy as there’s a public stage just opposite the guest house :o

I loved Malacca when I visited there- it has such a unique environment. My Chinese lessons must be working as I can read the sign….kafei dian (I’m guessing the first two characters are Tang House).

Hi Tee ;) yes you are right on the kafei dian…but the first two characters 傳統 (chuan tong) means traditional.

Wah.. You haven’t been for a few years already! Jonkers street has become too commercialized already..
