Both pictures were taken last year at one of the parks in Putra Jaya, Malaysia.
Can’t remember the name of the park…sorry
I would like to share a Japanese proverb related to ants with all of you.
蟻の穴から堤も崩れる (ありのあなからつつみもくずれる)
It means “Even an ant hole can destroy a dike”
蟻 (Ari) = ants
穴(Ana) = hole
堤(Tsutsumi) = dike
崩れる(Kuzureru) = fall apart
I guess the proverb is trying to tell us that a little neglect may cause great mischief.
Like “A little leak will sink a great ship”
There are a lot of proverbs related to ants in Japanese.
Is there any proverbs in your country which is related to ants?

An Italian proverb says: “E’ meglio esser testa di formica che coda di leone” that translated to English sounds
“It’s better to be the head of an ant than the tail of a lion”
Thanks for sharing this interesting proverb :) Could you please explain the proverb a bit?
