Roasted Sweet potato (군고구마)
on the street of Jeonju (전주), Korea.

Roasted sweet potato during winter in Korea

노란 고구마 means yellow sweet potato

노란 (Noran)= yellow
고구마 (Goguma)= sweet potato

군밤 (Gun bam)= roasted chestnuts

In Korea during winter, you’ll often see mobile stalls on the streets like this
selling roasted sweet potato & chestnuts.

I love sweet potatoes & roasted sweet potato on a cold winter day is <3
I was so tempted to buy one from the ajusshi if I was not too stuffed with
the bibimbap that I had for lunch on that day.

Oh. Btw. Roasted sweet potato is popular in Japan too during winter.
it’s called 焼きいも(Yaki imo) in Japanese.

Love the fact that you write the Korean and Japanese words too! The site asks me to login in WP if I try to leave a comment filling in my details (email, name and web address). The only other options are Facebook and Twitter.

korean sweet potatoes is part of 밤고구마(밤 means chestnut), 호박고구마(호박 means pumkins). 호박고구마 is sweeter than 밤고구마 and a bit more juicy(?).
