Cafe 5CIJUNG

Cafe 5CIJUNG is a nice cafe in Garosu gil with super yummy scones!
I meet up with my Korean friend at Garuso gil on my first day in Seoul.
It was so cold on that day that we just wanted to hide in a nice cafe & talk.
She searched through the internet with her samsung smart phone & found this place with
lots of nice reviews and photos.
Pictures below are taken with LomoLomography fine color ISO 100 film.
Thank you paula for sending them to me :)
I had banana ginger tea. I thought it might taste kinda weird when I saw it on the menu. But being a banana + ginger tea fan I had to give it a try! It’s kinda new taste for me but it turned out to be not bad at all. I think they also added a little bit of cinnamon in the drink. My friend claimed that their hot cocoa was really thick & good too! Btw. Those complimentary home baked scones that comes with the drink are soooo soooo gooood!!! The jam was super yummy too & I think it’s organic. You can buy them in the cafe.
And I love how they serve their drink with those cute little bears. So cute right!
Oh, & I found another good review about this cafe by Seoulgride.com over here. go read if you’re interested.

Love, love, love this post!
The place looks amazing, I wish there were more cafes like this one where I live. The banana ginger tea looks very good. I think banana + ginger makes a great combo! (I have a recipe for a banana+ginger cake that I really have to try).
Also, I’m very happy you used the Lomo film in this trip! Did you like it? I think the photos look great : )
Hi Paula. I really like the color of Lomo film ;) Thank you again for sending it to me! banana + ginger cake sounds yummy! Please try baking it and tell us about the result ;)
Looks delish!
hi Magali. Those scones are really gooood! It’s one of the best I’ve tasted!
I was gonna what was that banana thing. I thought it was dessert!
hehehe…I think you’ll enjoy this place. They also have other food menu.
Looks like a very cozy place to hang out!
It seems that this place is very crowded on weekends but we were there on a weekday afternoon..there’s not many ppl around when we were there ;p
Haha. I bet they have missing bears from time to time.
hehehe…maybe it might not happen in Japan & Korean ;p
Wow, your pix made me hungry and wanting to go travel again!! Best part – I have been deprived of my travelling by work~ -.-”
oh..so sorry to hear about that..maybe you can take short trips on weekend to Melaka!? Melaka is one of my favorite places in Malaysia ;) but the down part is it’s always flooded with tourist during weekend.
You were in Seoul again! Yeah, both the tea and scones do look tempting. I’d love to try some.
I often think about going back there and think, “Not this time, but I can always go back.” and choose somewhere else or not go anywhere at all.
