On my second day in Bangkok, I headed to Chinatown.
Took the mrt to Hua Lamphong station and walked from there.
It’s quite a long walk and I got lost a few times :p
I don’t know the name of this temple but it’s heavily decorated with dragon carvings!

Bangkok’s Chinatown is huge !!!
I walked so much on that day but didn’t even covered half of the places in Chinatown.
I was just wondering around without much plan though :p
If you’re visiting Bangkok and want a better guide on Chinatown,
you should check out this page for a walking tour on Bangkok’s Chinatown :)

Lots of red and motorcycles! I love how your trip posts are so detailed!
I’m not sure what this year has been to me.
Hi Jackie :) There’s really a lot of motorcycles in Bangkok! & you should see how some of them are loaded with goods. It’s quite an amazing act.
Did you try any of the food in Bangkok?
2011 has been bittersweet for me with both my grandmothers passed away earlier this year, however the sweet thing about 2011 is that I shall celebrate it with giving birth to a new life.
Hi Tima. yes. I ate a lot of street food in Bangkok. Will post the food pictures some other time!
I’m so sorry to hear about your grandmother but looking at the bright side…you’ll have a new family member soon yah!? Congratulations!
wonderful photos, i so want to see more of this world.
i cannot believe tomorrow brings our 7th month. the next thing you know, we will be ringing in 2012. i don’t know how this happens, but i keep getting older too. :) this year is about embracing my inner health and letting that take over. i have changed my entire approach to food. it feels good.
Hi kitchu. I’m glad to hear that you’ve changed your approach to food. My diet have changed a lot too since I came back to Japan.
