Sleepwalking in Tokyo

Norman Rockwell

Posted in Art & Design, film photography, Tokyo by sleepwalkingintokyo on July 11, 2010

Photo taken on 10th July, 2010.
Mitsubishi Color 100 film. Canon EOS 300 camera.

I went to the Norman Rockwell exhibition at the Fuchu Art Museum yesterday. The weather was nice & sunny!

You know what!? When I checked the weather forecast on Friday night, it says rainy & cloudy!  My friend and I were actually planning to go hiking but we change our plans thinking it might rain.

So when I woke up yesterday morning and saw the bright and sunny sky! I went “what the heck!” Never gonna trust weather forecast again :o

And oh…these pictures are taken with Mitsubishi Color 100 film. I seldom use ISO 100 film but these pictures turned out fine and I love the tones too. I’m having so much fun trying out different films :)

btw. Norman Rockwell is a American painter & Illustrator in the 20th century, famous for this cover Illustration for “The Saturday Evening post”. I’ve always love his painting style and am really glad that I got to see some of his original artworks!! I hope I’ll have a chance to visit his museum in the States one day.

How’s your weekend coming on?

That is rather impressive for 100 film!

Well, my week-end? Sorting out stuff and trying to see who might want it as I don’t feel like throwing good stuff away. Strangely enough I’ve been doing this “moving from country to country” so often that it’s almost fun.

Hi there, sorry i havent been visiting as of late, been absolutely busy (as always) with my elder sister staying with me and my cousin..im over exhausted now that I think Ive got a bit of a bug that I know I will fall ill very soon ..for sure, lets hope its now and not when I go off to the UK this coming 19th *ugh* My weekend has been nice :) You know when I used a manual camera i never knew the quality of the photos taken when you choose the film type and now I know ..the quality of these are very nice too. I wish I could do the same with my camera but the cost of just developing them could be costly for me :)
