These are from last Saturday. My friends and I had Thai food at Ban Thai in Shinjuku. The restaurant is heavily decorated with wood carvings…totally love it :)

Thai wood carving

Singha glass

Thai condiments

I love their krapow but opted for a bowl of beef noodle instead coz’ I had krapow 3 times last week *laugh Oh….sorry for the out of focus photo…

Thai beef noodle

My friend tried their kraprow but it was too spicy for her :o I guess most Japanese can’t take spicy stuff. I love kraprow!!!

Krapow - Thai spicy Thai basil chicken dish

Bubble tea. At first I thought this will be very sweet but it turned out great. yummy…arhh.. another out of focus photo…It’s kinda difficult to get a clear shot of the object when the lighting is very dim indoor…

Bubble milk tea

* Love their wood table with carvings. *

I’ve never seen someone post about Thai restaurant in Japan (even if someone did).
That 4th picture, we call in full “Kraprow Gai (if chicken) Kai Dao (with egg)” If you order pork we call Kraprow Moo.
    ^^

There’s a ban thai here as well! I always have masaman curry, but I’ll have to try kraprow next time!

Oh. I think there’s a lot of Thai restaurant with the name of “Ban Thai” or “Barn Thai”…I’m not sure why… masaman curry sounds Indian though…Take some pictures when you’re there next time…would love to see how’s the Thai food like over there.
