27th March, 2010.

I have not been posting any food photos for a while…so here’s some photo of PATISSERIE MARIAGE, a very nice cake shop in Harimazaka (播磨坂), near Myogadani station (茗荷谷駅) of Marunouchi line (丸ノ内線). I’ve read some nice reviews of this shop on the internet and have been wanting to try their cakes… finally got a chance when I went to check out the cherry blossom at Harimazaka 2 weeks ago.

OMG. Everything looks so yummy!

The Sakura flavor swiss roll with strawberry jam looks good too yah!?

The shop is usually very crowded but I got lucky and managed to get myself a nice seat :) but sakura was not blooming yet…the cherry blossom trees are still quite bare as you can see in this photo.

So this is what I got myself. Sorry. I don’t remember the name of this cake… The cake set comes with a drink and a piece of chocolate. This is so yummy…I couldn’t stop after I had the first bite…

but I did stop a while to take this photo to share with you guys :p lol

As you can see, it’s a mix of mousse and sponge cake!? with strawberry jam looking thingy on the outer layer! I love it coz’ the outer layer strawberry jam looking thingy was not too sweet or artificial..you know what I mean…it tasted a teeny weeny bit sour as I like it to be…

Oh…I wanna try everything in this shop. I’ll definitely go back there again. But maybe I’ll just take-away the next time round coz’ if you eat in, you have to order drinks which make the bill a little bit expensive…
